Yes, bloodborne pathogens certification does expire. OSHA requires that workers receive bloodborne pathogens training at initial assignment and then at least annually thereafter. To put it simply, workers must renew their bloodborne pathogens certificates annually by completing an OSHA-aligned bloodborne pathogens course. Our BBP courses can be completed to meet this annual requirement and receive an updated certificate.
