Forklift Instructor/Evaluator Online Certification

Our online forklift certification training solutions have been designed in alignment with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178, ANSI B56.1, and the CSA B335-15 Safety Standard for Lift Trucks.  The Forklift Train the Trainer Certification online course was developed to streamline your learning experience and help you to rapidly improve your instructor skills.

Practical Evaluations

This online course can help qualify workers to become competent practical evaluators and is often used in a blended learning strategy. For example, employers will train their operators with our forklift operator online certification and then qualify one or more internal practical evaluators using this course. This way, the practical evaluations can more effectively be completed at the worksite.

Training Materials

This is an online training program that will award you or your internal trainers with a train-the-trainer certificate upon successful completion. It does not include materials to use when training your workers.

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Canadian Standards Association (CSA) each have a standard that outlines many guidelines and recommendations relating to forklifts. Among these are very specific requirements relating to forklift operator training.

Our Forklift Certification Training has been carefully designed to meet and even exceed the training requirements that have been outlined in each of these standards.

Because employers are required to comply with these standards (OSHA and ANSI in the USA, and CSA in Canada), training and certifications that have been aligned with them will be seen as more valuable than those that have not been.

Practical Training Component

It’s important to note that in order to completely satisfy the requirements of the standards, workplace and equipment-specific training must be completed by the employer, along with a practical evaluation. These workplace training components cannot be completed by any third-party provider whether they offer online or live training. The reason for this is that each workplace is different and poses unique hazards. An employer is best suited to train workers on these unique circumstances that exist within their workplace and their specific equipment.
