The included Spanish Lockout/Tagout Train-the-Trainer online program is designed to prepare trainers to deliver consistent, compliant lockout/tagout training in-house. Aligned with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 and ANSI Z244.1, the course is organized into clear sections that support classroom instruction and reinforce proper application and verification of energy control procedures in the workplace.  The entire program is delivered in Spanish.

The LOTO trainer program and included materials are designed in alignment with the following lockout/tagout standards and regulatory requirements:

• OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 – The control of hazardous energy (lockout/tagout)
• ANSI/ASSP Z244.1 – Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout)
• CSA Z460 – Control of Hazardous Energy – Lockout and Other Methods

Training Language and Comprehension

OSHA requires that lockout/tagout training be provided in a language and vocabulary that employees can understand. This means employers must ensure that employees fully comprehend the training content.

If you’re training Spanish-speaking workers, you must provide them with Spanish lockout/tagout training. Providing English-language training to workers who don’t speak English does not meet OSHA’s Lockout/Tagout training requirements.
