The Spanish overhead crane trainer & evaluator program and inlcuded instructor materials are designed in alignment with the following overhead crane safety standards and regulatory requirements:

• OSHA 29 CFR 1910.179 – Overhead and gantry cranes.
• ANSI/ASME B30.2 – Overhead and Gantry Cranes (Top Running Bridge, Single or Multiple Girder, Top Running Trolley Hoist)

Training Language and Comprehension

OSHA requires that overhead crane training be provided in a language and vocabulary that employees can understand. This means employers must ensure that employees fully comprehend the training content.

If you’re training Spanish-speaking operators, you need to provide them with Spanish crane training. Providing English-language training to workers who don’t speak English does not meet OSHA’s requirements.
